Vick will plead guilty

Vick will plead guilty the felony conspiracy charge next Monday. MSNBC is reporting that the quarterback and his attorneys will have a press conference today at 3pm EST to discuss the details of the plea agreement. The offense is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine and the judge has said he is not stuck in any "sentencing confines".

Vick decided to plead guilty in order to avoid more charges that could have been brought by the grand jury after the confessions of his two co-defendants. "Vick’s last two co-defendants pleaded guilty Friday and said he bankrolled gambling on dogfights at Vick’s property in rural Surry County, not far from his hometown of Newport News. One said Vick helped drown or hang dogs that didn’t do well."

This disgusting piece of garbage wants to apologize to those who were hurt and I am assuming he not only means the companies who lost money on their partnership with him, but the many animals who were abused and MURDERED by this man.

"Michael wishes to apologize to everyone who has been hurt by this manner," a statement from lawyer Bill Martin said Monday. "Mr. Vick has agreed to ... accept full responsibility for the mistakes he has made."

My only hope is once that he has served his jail time he will not have a job to return to since he does not deserve to represent any professional football team after his despicable actions. And please give me a break with him a "victim of ghettohood". This man had money and and enough possibilities where he was longer poor and wasn't forced to make these choices, he happily made them. I guess we will have to see how the story progresses for Mr. Vick.

THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY and WE WILL UPDATE AS NEWS BECOMES AVAILABLE.
