So who gives a crap about these Super Bowl ads anymore? We all know it costs the company an arm and a leg to get their shitty ad on during this time and most viewers are so drunk they could care less what Justin Timberlake was getting hit in the balls for.
But sometimes, a company will really wow you with their advertisement, either with an incredibly witty commercial, amazing artwork or just sheer racism. Salesgenie.com, who I am not even sure how they could afford one of these spots, is definitely the later. While I am usually PCphobic and try really hard not to be offended by stupidity, SalesGenie’s Panda – Bamboo House commercial could have been one of the most offensive things I have seen in awhile. Check out what could send American and Chinese relations back a few hundred years.

Not a sad sack

Let's say it first, I am not the biggest football fan. While I appreciate the game and usually get way too into it while watching, I am not a Super Bowl freak unless I actually know the teams involved. This year was an extremely exciting game because 1) I am NYer and Giants fan (well I like them), 2) I detest the Patriots, 3) Tom Brady is a jag off and 4) it's nice to see underdogs involved in the big games. That being said, most people were betting against the Giants to bring it home. Going into the game, I wasn't sure what the outcome would be, but I knew the Patriots could not win. Well the Giants kicked butt and managed to beat the undefeated Patriots 17 to 14.
I couldn't be happier because the Giants really came out yesterday to play like a team and win. They made sure the Patriots kept down their scoring with a strong defense and they busted their asses out there to remove any doubt that they DESERVED to play against Brady and the boys. Also, as you may know, Patriots are a bunch of cheaters and Congress is interested in looking into Spygate, where teams were illegally having people in the stands and taping plays to use against them. I am excited that Eli Manning was able to beat this team during this very important game, since if the Spygate scandal comes to fruition, who knows what games will count or not and this win sends a message. It means that cheaters and glory hogs aren't always going to come out on top.

Vick will plead guilty
Vick will plead guilty the felony conspiracy charge next Monday. MSNBC is reporting that the quarterback and his attorneys will have a press conference today at 3pm EST to discuss the details of the plea agreement. The offense is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine and the judge has said he is not stuck in any "sentencing confines".
Vick decided to plead guilty in order to avoid more charges that could have been brought by the grand jury after the confessions of his two co-defendants. "Vick’s last two co-defendants pleaded guilty Friday and said he bankrolled gambling on dogfights at Vick’s property in rural Surry County, not far from his hometown of Newport News. One said Vick helped drown or hang dogs that didn’t do well."
This disgusting piece of garbage wants to apologize to those who were hurt and I am assuming he not only means the companies who lost money on their partnership with him, but the many animals who were abused and MURDERED by this man.
"Michael wishes to apologize to everyone who has been hurt by this manner," a statement from lawyer Bill Martin said Monday. "Mr. Vick has agreed to ... accept full responsibility for the mistakes he has made."
My only hope is once that he has served his jail time he will not have a job to return to since he does not deserve to represent any professional football team after his despicable actions. And please give me a break with him a "victim of ghettohood". This man had money and and enough possibilities where he was longer poor and wasn't forced to make these choices, he happily made them. I guess we will have to see how the story progresses for Mr. Vick.
THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY and WE WILL UPDATE AS NEWS BECOMES AVAILABLE.
