Music News....

  • Meg White says it is not her in the sextape that leaked all over the internet this weekend. The White Stripes had already cancelled their tour for her "acute anxiety" and now this. Good thing these kids are in a rock band and not on a Disney show.

  • Rufus Wainwright brought the Judy Garland show to the Hollywood Bowl this weekend. Wainwright brought back Lorna Luft, Garland's daughter, to help him perform the final Judy Garland tribute (the tour began last year at the original venue, Carnegie Hall). Reviews are favorable and I am sure it was a beautiful night under the stars and then traffic hell!

  • Ghostface Killah, Trail of Dead and ADULT SWIM present a free concert series. The closest they come to NYC is Albany, so I will be missing out on this.

  • Clear Channel agrees to buyout. Word is still out if this will change any of their daily operations or their stranglehold on a lot of the live music venues/radio stations all over the U.S.

  • CMJ Marathon comes to NYC. The shows being October 16th and this lineup is actually turning out to be quite good. I have a few shows I will make sure I get to this year around, such as the 1990s and Sons and Daughters. You can check out the full list and purchase tickets at Oh My Rockness .
