Wanda Sykes "Comes Out"....

In other TV funny lady news, Wanda Sykes, co-star of The New Adventures of Old Christine and Curb Your Enthusiasm, “came out” this past weekend at a rally for gay marriage in Las Vegas. The comedian announced that she had recently married her long term girlfriend, just days before Proposition 8 was passed in California, banning gay marriage. Sykes had never gone on the record before in regards to her sexual orientation because she didn’t feel the need to, but after the passing of Prop 8 she felt “pissed off”. The comedian said that she was hoping that the ban on gay marriage in California will now lead to work and progress that would make it legal in all 50 states. She also said “I am proud to be a woman. I’m proud to be a black woman and I’m proud to be gay”, later in her speech. Sykes, who is a well known comedian and co-star on a popular comedy program, is just another celebrity who has made the decision to live her life out in the open and for that we couldn’t be prouder. Not to say that I think everyone should “come out”, but this takes strength and hopefully will bring further awareness to the public.

Colin Powell Endorses Barack Obama for President...

The big political news this weekend wasn’t that Sarah Palin was able to bob her hands up and down while Amy Poehler rapped on SNL, but that General Colin Powell, a former Secretary of State for George W. Bush and possible running mate for Sen. John McCain, has officially endorsed Senator Barack Obama for President on Sunday’s edition of Meet The Press.



For those of you not fully understanding of what this means, let me put it to you in the most clear cut way. A lifelong Republican and highly decorated veteran and longtime advisor to the GOP, Powell has worked within the administrations of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush throughout the Gulf War and most recently was Secretary of State during Bush’s first term. He has been a possible Presidential candidate many times, in 1996, 2000 and 2008, and was believed to be a running mate for John McCain once he secured his party’s nomination earlier this year. The man is not only one of our most respected leaders, but most recently he was widely touted as a maverick after dispelling the myth of WMDs before the invasion of Iraq and unfortunately while too late in the game, spoke out against Bush’s decision to go to war with Iraq in 2003. It is surprising that Powell would not only deviate from his party, but would oppose the election of his long time friend, John McCain, for President. Monday, Barack Obama has said that he would appreciate Gen. Powell to become an advisor within his administration and that an official position would be available if Powell would be so interested.

What’s more significant in this whole endorsement was the plethora of reasons Powell gave for SUPPORTING Obama. He stated that the candidate being elected would not only be “electrifying” for the American public, but that the Senator from Illinois was a candidate for a new age and a new direction. This endorsement came on the heels of the news that Barack Obama and Joe Biden raised $150 Million in support of their campaign in September alone, which is now the largest pull for any political campaign and it more than doubled his last record fund raising month of August. The overall momentum of the campaign has shifted and Obama’s fund raising efforts are being lauded as transitional for all political campaigns in the future, with the public’s money truly supporting their candidate and the methods that were used to gain the additional funds.

This will be the last discussion of politics and this year's election until tomorrow when I get so mad about something John McCain said I am ready to spit bullets.

Anyways, I want to remind all of you that not only is this election important, but getting your voice heard within it is too! So please, if you haven't already, get your ass registered to vote. And make sure to tune into the final debate between Barack Obama and John McCain on October 15th.

SNL and Real Time hits politics on its head....

How would we get through election cycles without the media mocking our politicians and SHOCKINGLY talking straight to Americans? On Friday night, Real Time with Bill Maher has Alec Baldwin, Christiane Amanpour and Gary Shandling sat down with Maher to discuss the bailout, the VP debate and the course of politics at this point. And in their own jocking manner, they ripped on the state of gov't in the United States. And oddly enough, Baldwin had the most concise and true point of view - everyone is to blame for this mess. Below is a clip of him and the other panel members debating the role of Republicans and Democrats in the economic downturn and our "rescue bailout" plan.



On top of that, SNL this week's only high points were the political skewerings delivered by the cast. And it seems that it could be the only strong attribute of the show continuing to pull in an audience nowadays. This weekend's was actually full of political satire. The below sketch on the bailout plan is a perfect example of what Baldwin was discussing in the above Real Time clip. While it goes on about two minutes too long, it just illustrates the nonsense that is partisanship within government right now and the lack of owning the mistakes from EITHER side. Enjoy!

The VP Debate - Tank, but No Tanks - Part 2

It has honestly taken me way too long to wrap my head around Thursday night's VP debate and the bullishness that followed from the McCain campaign that it's almost difficult for me to write this. After cozying up on my couch Friday night, after a long long week, with a glass of wine and a DVRed VP debate to watch, I wasn't sure that I would be able to get mad since I was already privy to most of the gems spit out from either side in Friday morning's news cycle. I think what shocked me most about the debate was the fact most Americans, those who are not heavily involved in party politics, were only given a true dedicated hour and a half to meet and learn about their VP candidates. In the age of overdosing on technology, one would think that since we have heard so much about both tickets, this debate would have just been filler space. But Gov. Palin has only been in the major limelight for 5 weeks and really has only given a few canned interviews and some repetitive stump speeches until this weekend. I know virtually nothing about the direction she wants America to go in, what she wants us to accomplish and how she plans on making any of this happen. And the fact that I don't know this and have yet to learn terrifies me. After the debate, most reports, pundits, even myself said "She was a good debater". I thought she was because overwhelmingly she charmed HER audience, was never overly aggressive, responded when necessary and avoided any topic or question that would trip her up. But the problem is, after an additional hour and a half with Governor Palin, I still KNOW NOTHING OF HER PLANS. She is in line for the Presidency people. She will, if her ticket wins, obtain the second most important position within our government and our country. And she will be second in command under a President who is to put it nicely, old. And God forbid anything were to happen, she would be given the reigns. I am completely flabbergasted by the past few months of this election cycle and he appointment and announment of palin can just be added to he lost of fumbfounding things. With the past two weeks of limited acces to gov palin, her supporters and her continuously aggressive tone at rallies,she seems to be making sure that the past eight years was just a blip on the conservative takeover of America.

At least Saturday Night Light can continue to poke fun at it.

Peggy Noon and Jon Stewart Discuss Patriotic Geace

Usually I stay away from any commentary given by Peggy Noonan on the issues of politics because I generally can’t stand her. She is a Reaganite who depicts Hillary Clinton as an evil woman and So I was apprehensive about checking her out on The Daily Show, especially since she still won’t fully admit she thinks the pick of Sarah Palin as the VP running mate for John McCain is “bullshit”. Well she sat down with Jon Stewart on Wednesday to discuss her new book ”Patriotic Grace” and what partisan politics is doing to this country. I was pleasantly surprised at the conversation Peggy and Jon had, discussing the issues that created the division and partisanship in the today’s political spectrum and how it truly is making the country divided. At the end of the segment, Jon and Peggy had really nice statements about what we should be doing.

McCain takes NINE DAYS to Realize Economy In Shambles...

Oh really? Really? Today is the day you decide that the looming financial crisis is too much to bare that you want to cancel the debate for this Friday Sen. McCain? Just last Monday the fundamentals of our "economy were strong" and then later in the week you decided that it was a catastrophy. Really McCain, I thought the economy was just another issues American's didn't care about? But honestly Senator now that the polls have you down by double digits in regards to the economy and leadership, you know the thing all your talking heads were whining about this morning when they were done worrying about the decline of the economy. Oh and lets not forget that one of your campaign managers, Rick Davis was paid nearly $2 million dollars by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac up until LAST MONTH. And Davis was being paid to make sure YOU were more lenient on regulation. Remember you and your hate of regulation? Oh come on. If I haven't forgotten and neither have countless others, surely you can remember how you were opposed to regulation in the past. But I guess that's just another flip-flop for you.

So let's discuss the fact that you believe now, two days before the first debate, when your poll numbers are in the gutter and the American people are TERRIFIED of continuing on the losing track your party set up for us, you decide you want to postpone the debates? Why not two days ago? Oh right, you and your insane lack of economics will swoop into DC and save the taxpayers and Americans the burden of a $700 BILLION buyout courtesy of big business and the Republicans? The gall of the Republicans will never seem to amaze me. This is another slap and tickle act from the party who created the disaster. Yesterday was not a disaster though and the fact that McCain has not voted on anything since April of this year should not shock you. The fact that the President, who only a few weeks ago continued to declare our economy strong and on the mend, is now screaming crisis, scares me even more. The bill that he wants our representatives to sign, right before an election and a congressional break, is eerily timed as to when they were requested in 2002 to sign off on the invasion of Iraq. Because when a Republican is down in the polls there is nothing they like more than a disaster. This go around at least it's not a terrorist attack but merely the U.S. falling further and further into 3rd class status. Sadly Obama will have to just go along with this notion that McCain somehow could even fix this crisis to avoid the mass hysteria of morons who vote against their wallets and best interest every go around. So how does one fix something that it took them years to realize was broken? I guess the same way it took us about five years to realize a memo regarding national security was important. But somehow, as always, the Republicans will do their very best as to blame Democrats for everything. Isn't leadership about responsibility and accountability or does that only matter when you are getting blow jobs from interns while your country flourishes? Instead of NOT POLITICKING on this important issue, McCain did just that by blindsiding Obama into the debate cancellation and used this to steal the media spotlight - once again! Senator Obama and McCain will meet tomorrow in Washington, DC with other politicians and President Bush to try and begin fixing the economic hot mess we are in, but who knows what other disasters are on the way in the next 40 DAYS for us to ponder before going into a voting booth on November 4th? The "stop world and let me off" rhetoric from the McCain camp today is beyond bogus and insulting. President's can't manage to prep for debates and solve financial crisis at the same time? Well if you can't, you can not have the Presidency - its that simple. For now, the debate is still on for this Friday, who shows up is a better question.

Fiscal Conservatives - A Cartoon History

This simple cartoon can easily explain to the American people who aren't worth at least $2 Million bucks what direction they should vote come November. To be honest, I believe that simple cartoons like this one can best illustrate the differences between the candidates on "important issues" and make more sense for voters than a bunch of bogus ads. So Obama, hit up Marvel and DC and start telling the people what the need to know...in cartoon format. I would love to see the one that illustrates the changes McCain and Palin would like to make to your health care programs.

UPDATED: Sarah Palin: What she means to me....Part 1

I am actually glad I saved my post about Sarah Palin and her qualifications. This weekend, I braced myself and watched the ABC News interview in its entirety. The interview was her only public interview since being affirmed by her party for the VP spot with Charlie Gibson of ABC News. To Palin's credit, she sure stuck on message with Charlie. And by this, she gave approximately the same answer to questions dealing with foreign affairs and war strategy. She seemed nervous when question of previous statements made earlier this year revering to the Iraq war as "god's plan" and her acknowledgment of not caring about the war any longer. The excerpts from the full interview from Friday night showcase attributes of Gov. Palin that I was already familiar with. She was able to stay on message- terrorism, Islamic, sure, war - extremely well and what's even more she has a similar gift that Bush has. And that is the ability to answer a question with a non answer answer. When confronted with questions regarding her strict views of religion and her belief that god is dictating the war in Iraq and pipeline production in Alaska she responded with quotes from Lincoln. When confronted with a straight forward question about her opinion on Bush's doctrine she responded with more conversion of war and terrorism (As we now know, this is because she was not completely familiar with what the Bush Doctrine was). When asked if she even considered not being ready before agreeing to run with McCain, she reiterated that she was ready and did not even waver in knowing this. Personally I think that was the scariest moment since anyone running for the second most important position should think about what they are bringing to the position, so pausing for reflection is not necessarily a terrible thing Governor. But not once, well at least not in the excerpts, did she reply with an actual fact or a plan of action. For a woman heaped upon a party and a nation just a few weeks ago, the only knowledge I gained from the interview thus far was her inability to truthfully answer questions without sound bites, her overall lack of foreign affairs and her reluctance to truly understand the magnitude of what was called onto her. This election cycle, I have been thrown through more hoops then any single one before. The party that has led to an attack on American soil, a downfall for the American dollar, housing crisis, security issues and overall malaise had some of the most bizarre heirs to the throne this time around. A man who the Right now acknowledges as a war hero and the best man fit man to run this country was only eight years ago dismissed by the Republican party for being "crazy", "unfit" and unworthy of the position comparatively with George Bush. His opponents this go around inspired the Democrats so much that their primary turn out was record breaking and led to the countries first female and black candidates for the Presidency. The choice of Palin by the McCain camp to be second in command is one for the record books. Her lack of track record, her near invisibility to the American voter before the announcement of her candidacy and the sheer fact that for someone running as a Maverick, a conservative croynist is an interesting choice to be your number two. Originally, Governor Palin was thought to be the answer to the Hillary voters who were apparently only voting with their vaginas. But so far Palin is proving to be almost completely opposite from Senator Clinton, her policies and her looks towards the future.



Palin repeats the idea of the “right” that if you say things enough they can become true. She has repeatedly said that she refused earmarks from the Federal Government, which we now know is true. We know she ferociously supported the “Bridge to Nowhere” before she said “Thanks, but No Thanks”. And we now have it confirmed by the McCain camp that she never went to Iraq, but merely a military base within Kuwait. Add that upon the facts we knew before and the information that will be released throughout the “Troopergate” investigation and I can not see how this “reformer” and “conservative” can remain in the race. I mean the Republicans would not want to support a duo of “flip-floppers”, would they?

I will finally post my full report/editorial on the conventions, the quick turn the Republicans made back to conservative, the Palin effect, the truth about our little Alaska Governor, Obama's plans and the response to the past two mind bending weeks in politics this Friday. I swing to one side, as all of my readers and friends know, but I want this election to be about truth - not about swift boating. And FUCK YOU Karl Rove for creating a word that will forever remain an integral part of the political zeitgeist!!!!

New Day, Same Old Crap from the Right Side...

It's hilarious how a straight answer is nearly impossible form the Republicans. Family and private lives are apparently not important anymore when you have a VP choice, who believes in abstinence only education, and a pregnant teenage daughter. And when you ask about Palin's direct experience, you simply hear more of the same - shit about Obama. Kudos to Campbell Brown for not backing down on the questions. I would love to have known how the Republicans and their armies of Dodos would have treated John Edwards' daughter in 2004 if she was in a similar situation. Lord knows they all had such tact when it came to Chelsea Clinton. Republicans are flipping the script on the Democratic party and the American public once again. Experience at an executive level from being the mayor of 8,000 people? Really???? But I do think Brown's strongest point was asking the McCain aide why, fully knowing that her daughter would be going through such a difficult time in the upcoming months, Palin thought it would be appropriate to throw the situation into the public eye? I too wonder where the judgement is there. I am fairly certain that Senator Obama nor Senator Clinton would ever stoop to that level to win a Presidency.

This is why I love Judge Judy....

Yesterday, Southern California was rocked by an earthquake, which registered as a 5.4 on the Richter Scale. Most of Los Angeles came out unscathed, but since this was the first substantial quake in awhile, experts are predicted a big one could be not far behind.

Yesterday, filming of the Judge Judy program, which happens to be one of my favorite shows on television, was in process when the Honorable Judge found herself running for cover during the shaking. The Judge, in the midst of hearing about a disagreement felt the shakes and ran for cover in mere seconds. Video, courtesy of CNN below.


Even Judge Judy knows you got to care about yourself first in cases of emergency. I can not wait until new episodes come back in the fall. My summer has been saddened by the lack of squabbling trash that usually rounds up the litigants on Judge Judy.

Who Will Take Over for Tim Russert?

Since this is an election year, the internet and news industry are all hard at work trying to figure out whom, if anyone, can fill Tim’s shoes on “Meet The Press”. Tom Brokaw, who took over the duty this past Sunday is a natural choice for this election cycle until a permanent replacement can be chosen. Other MSNBC/NBC News regulars whose names have been floated around are David Gregory, Chuck Todd and possibly my political girlcrush Rachel Maddow. I think all three are wonderful choices because they have the earnest interest in politics and what surrounds it like Russert, but they also do not wear their political agendas on their sleeves like other NBC anchors/ correspondents do. Gregory would be the smartest choice, with his political pedigree and his ability to disarm others in a debate. I believe Todd and Maddow would be wonderful sideline players and hope these two take bigger stakes in the network as the election cycle gets more intense.

I meant to post this yesterday, but here is Luke Russert, son of Tim Russert, describing his relationship between him and his dad on the Today show. Honestly, I wish more families were like this and this video makes me appreciate Mr. Russert even more. While I expected Luke to be more broken down since losing his father the Friday before Father’s Days, he an incredibly positive attitude towards the sudden death of his father. Luke said to Matt Lauer that “there was not one day of my life that I did not feel loved by my father”. And this allowed him to properly mourn his father, who he felt would not want everyone to stop living their lives because of his passing.

This Sunday will be strange _ Tim Russert, host of "Meet the Press", dead at age 58

Tim Russert, NBC News' Washington bureau chief and host of the channels "Meet the Press" died earlier this afternoon after a sudden heart attack. Russert was at work at the time and had just returned from a family vacation in Italy. The journalist and integral moderator of this election cycle was 58 years old.

Russert’s sudden passing is definitely a blow to the NBC News family, the sentiment echoed by both Tom Brokaw and Brian Williams this afternoon when the breaking story hit airwaves. Tim was a great moderator and presented a somewhat fair and balanced look at politics in this extremely divided climate. A Buffalo, NY native, Russert worked on various Democratic campaigns, including that of Mario Cuomo’s gubernatorial race before joining the news division over at NBC. He was a powerhouse and important figure in Washington, DC and in the coverage of American politics. Just this year, TIME named him one of the 100 Most Influential People and his write was provided by one time boss, Mario Cuomo himself. He was the host of "Meet the Press", a news program that hit its 60th year in production in 2007. Russert would meet with figure heads, pundits, candidates and others highly involved in the election cycle and process on this weekly program, that began to welcome my Sunday mornings a few years back.

Tim Russert passing had an odd effect on me mainly because he signifies a very important part of my life. See Russert was the commencement speaker at my graduation in 2003 from Purchase College in Purchase, NY. And what I can remember, it was a very nice speech, with a lot of emphasis on the future, keeping your eyes open, to not be afraid of doing the unexpected and testing limits. He referenced his own life and where he started from and where he was then. He requested us, the graduates, to get out there and investigate things around us and to not just take things, people, news, etc. at face value. 2003 was a big year for me in more ways than just graduating. I moved to New York City, became highly involve in politics and philanthropy and was able to participate in things I never dreamed of. Don’t get me wrong, Russert’s speech was not the guiding force behind the change, but I do remember his words and their power. And not to get too cheesy, but it is an incredible shame that someone with as much passion and interest in his daily work is no longer able to assist us in seeking out truth and never taking things at face value. There are many things in this world that act as signs for us and I do hope that a few people can take away from this sad story that it is never too late to do what you want to do.

My deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends. It is never easy losing someone you love, but it is even harder to lose them in the prime of their life, without notice. This Sunday will definitely be a bit strange.

Let’s get to the mid week recap…Political edition

* Sad news hit the political world yesterday when it as reported that Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor after being admitted to the hospital for stroke symptoms. The 76 year old and lone surviving male of the Kennedy clan, has been championing rights and helping govern America for thrity + years. He has been receiving get well wishes from all over the poltical spectrum and his wife Vicki said the diagnosis came out of nowhere and it is incredibly shocking. We wish Senator Kennedy and his family strength during this trying time.

* The news of Senator Kennedy’s brain tumor has resparked the conversation about the bad luck and curses which have fallen onto the Kennedy family, specifically the men. Anyone with an Irish grandmother has heard the curse on the Kennedy clan more times than they care to mention.

* Speaking of Irish heritage, Senator Jim Webb discussed what could be behind the staunch support of Hillary Clinton by Scots-Irish Americans. I have to say his look at the similar American lives of the Scots-Irish and African Americans in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s is quite interesting.

* Obama continues to out raise his presidential campaign after his big win in Oregon yesterday. Clinton will continue in the her race to the White House after her sizable win in Kentucky.

* And finally, New York Magazine has an in-depth look at the final hours of Robert F. Kennedy before his assassination on June 5, 1968. This year will mark the 40th anniversary of that sad and devastating date in American history. It’s amazing that in 40 years so little and at the same time so much as changed in our political world.

Mariah Carey and the never ending press tour for craziness.

Mariah Carey continues her publicity campaign of craziness. The living poster girl for celeb crazy and singer married “hilarious” Nick Cannon last week at her new home in the Bahamas. The couple had reportedly been dating for a mere six weeks when they were married. Fox News is reporting that Carey was smart enough to put together a pre-nup before the two crazy kids were married, which was probably brought on by the thought of someone getting as much money out of her as she did Tommy Matola after their divorce.

Carey is telling People that she can not wait to bring children into “their happy home”. She also got a tattoo “Mrs. Cannon” to celebrate her lifelong bond with Mr. Cannon. If this guy can make it through six months of being married to her, I say he should receive a medal of honor. Is it honestly this competitive of a market for CD sales that one has to perform on The Hills, American Idol and have a fake wedding? Dang, I knew things were bad, but I didn’t think they were this bad.

Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon are Dunzo!

Liv Tyler has officially separated from her husband People is reporting. There have been rumors swirling after the actress was overhead discussing a possible divorce from her rocker husband Royston Langdon. Tyler was also searching for a West Village townhouse late last month without her husband and had been going out a lot without her man, which fueled the fire over a possible split. This was the first marriage for the two and no other information has been given out from her publicist. The couple have a son Milo together and it appears the split is amicable.

Uma Thurman's Stalker Found Guilty.....

Uma Thurman just got a bit of justice, since her accused stalker of two and half years was was found guilty of the charges in a New York City courtroom yesterday. Jordan was found guilty of the charges that came from his various letters, appearances at the actress’ house and his sheer determination to be around her whenever he could. He also called her two children from ex-husband Ethan Hawke and illusion.

What’s interesting about this case is there was a Wall Street Journal reporter on the jury and she has writtenabout her experience and the reason why the jury found him guilty of one count of stalking and one count of aggravated harassment. Emily Steele, the WSJ reporter goes into great detail about the jury process and how they came to the final verdict. It was interesting to hear about the twelve people who ultimately decide this man and many other accused criminal’s fates. It was appreciated that Ms. Thurman’s case was not handled any differently because she was a celebrity. Jordan faces up to a year and half in prison for the charges.

Not sure if this irony at its best or just plain old America’s charm, but yesterday a story about a seven year old boy from Florida, who stole a car and drove it all over town to “crash it”, was reported on by various media outlets. It was also the same day that “Grand Theft Auto 4 streeted, which is looking to be one of the best grossing video games EVER! I am not saying Rockstar Games planned this, but it is pretty interesting. Here’s the video of this little charmer.


Ok, so this kid Latarian Milton, from Palm Beach, FL, stole his grandmother’s SUV and grabbed his “cigarette smoking” friend and drove this car ALL OVER town. The two hit parked cars, mailboxes and the joyride came to an end when they crashed into two moving cars. When interviewed as to why Latarian, a seven year old boy, would take his granny’s SUV and ride it all over town, he simply said “I wanted to do hoodrat stuff”. He went on about how cool it is to bad and dangerous things and didn’t even flinch when he was asked if he realized he could have killed someone. His grandmother was then interviewed and she said that she “wish she could have whooped his ass”, but she would probably be ”arrested for it”.

You have to love America, especially its shinning star in a sea of stars, Florida. The grandmother unfortunately will have to compensate all injured parties for the wreckage her grandson made on the joyride. And since we are chatting about joyrides, let’s check in with Roxette and hear about theirs.

* America voted off Chikezie this week from American Idol. Although he wasn’t the most talented or charismatic contestant on the program, there were definitely some worse performances than his. And Kristy Lee Cook’s assault on Red State America with her “Proud to Be an American” performance, as she didn’t even find herself in the bottom three this week. Entertainment Weekly caught up with Chekezie and chatted with him about his experience on AI this year.

* Erik Hopfinger, the tattooed tough guy on Top Chefwas asked to pack up his knives fter his corn dogs were judged to be too soggy. It’s been a rough road for the nice guy chef and I don’t think anyone thought he would be staying till the end. These chefs did not aim to impress the judges this week with their lame street fare for a local Chicago block party.

* Bret Micheals sent the last attractive lady, Jessica, home last night on Rock of Love 2. The last four ladies went to Las Vegas with Bret and Heather from Rock of Love 1. Heather started massive shit between the girls and Daisy about her still living with her ex-boyfriend, Nikki Sixx 2.0 and being all in debt. Heather was just jealous and all these bitches are nuts. Jessica, the naïve one, well at least that’s what we were told every 5 minutes, was told her tour stopped there because she “was a young soul”. Which means Bret knew she would become tired of him and his old balls as soon as the cameras stopped rolling. It’s pretty obvious Daisy is going to win.

* Tyra and the judges sent another one packing this week and the unlucky girl this time was Aimee. ANTM has a knack for almost hitting hits viewers in the head with which model will be in the bottom two at the end of the episode. This week’s shoot took place in McCarren Park Pool in Williamsburg. Its always weird to watch these chicks hang out somewhere when I spend a good amount of my time. Anywhos, Claire was a bitch to Dominique during the episode and sucked at her shoot. Aimee whined about not getting naked and sucked on her photo shoot. Ultimately the judges knew Aimee was going home because she was just “girlfriend pretty”. Also, Anya won the first challenge of the day and got to take a soft core photo shoot with Nigel. Now that’s my kind of prize.

* We watched another hoochie go home on Flavor of Love 3. The ladies met with old contestants Saaphyri and Buckwild to make a “sexy” calendar and the two ladies thought none of these chicks were good enough for the prince Flav. So they brought in four new girls, who are obviously looking for love in a 50 year old has been rapper. But before this, Flav kicked out Shy last go around. It was probably because she made the mistake of telling him the cost of fixing her teeth was equal to the price of a brand new Mercedes. The girl had such bad breath that Flavor brought it up numerous times to her and she ended up going to the dentist. Now Flav is not picky at all when it comes to ladies, but even he has breath standards. It just keeps getting better.

* And finally, I don’t watch the following shows, but that doesn’t mean my readers don’t.
